TechDisc Installation Guide To Install The TechDisc? Launcher Onto Your System: 1. Place the TechDisc CD-ROM into the system's CD-ROM drive. Network users: Copy all the files from the CD to the network drive. 2. Open File Manager and run INSTALL.EXE (First time install only). Network users: Run INSTALL.EXE on each local workstation. 3. Follow the installation instructions. If an AVI Video driver is already installed on your system, you do not need to install another. To Run A TechDisc Product For The First Time: 4. Click the Nereus Launcher icon located in the NEREUS RUNTIME program group. 5. Click on the "Utilities" menu bar and then "Preferences" to tell the Launcher the location of your CD-ROM drive. 6. Network users: Click on the "Utilities" menu bar, and then "Add from Network". 7. Click "Add Disc". Installing the data tables locally allows the TechDisc to run faster, but requires approximately 2 megs of space on your system's hard drive. 8. Select the desired TechDisc. 9. Click "Run". To Run A Previously Installed TechDisc 1. Place the TechDisc CD into the system's CD-ROM drive. 2. Select TechDisc Launcher from the Nereus program group. 3. Select the desired TechDisc. 4. Click "Run". System Requirements: * 486 DX33 (DX66 or higher recommended), 8 Megs RAM (minimum) * Microsoft Windows? 3 1, or Windows 95? * 2x CD-ROM Drive (6x or higher recommended) * SVGA color monitor, 800 x 600, (1024 x 768 recommended) * 256 color minimum, 64 K color preferred, small fonts (required) * 8 bit sound card and printer (optional)
